Brand new for Bristol …Dore & Rees to hold their first motorcycle auction
The renowned auction house is bringing their reputation for expertise and excellence to deliver a rewarding experience for enthusiasts and collectors alike. From the elegant to the eccentric, this auction which opens on Sunday, February 25 from 10.30am will feature tons of classic and collectors’ bikes going under the gavel.
These include two iconic models from Triumph. First is a 1972 Triumph X75 Hurricane (estimate £24,000 – £26,000), this is a factory special by Craig Vetter and is unrestored and in superb order. Up next is a 1974 Triumph T150 Trident Slippery Sam Replica (estimate £9,000 – £11,000). Only 28 Slippery Sam Replicas were ever produced by Triumph and today surviving models are incredibly rare. This bike is a highly authentic ‘tool room’ recreation.
And because they are aiming to suit every budget, Dore & Rees is also offering a 1961 Moto Parilla Wildcat Scrambler (estimate £5,000 – £7,000). Primarily aimed towards the American market, the Wildcat is exceptionally rare today, especially in the UK and is is a highly sought after collectible period bike.
